Job summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support medicines optimisation across the patient journey in a busy hospital setting. The role emphasises clinical responsibility, multidisciplinary collaboration and high-quality pharmacy support.

Part-time hours (18 hrs/week) with a pro rata salary up to £50,000. Benefits include 25 days annual leave (pro rata), private medical cover, dental insurance, life assurance, pension, Cycle2Work, on-site parking and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• You are a registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy.
• Independent prescriber or experience in secondary care pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Support medicines optimisation through medication review, reconciliation and prescription review.
• Provide expert medicines advice to patients, carers, consultants and staff.
• Assist with safe procurement, management and control of medication stock.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, incident reporting and the introduction of new medicines and therapies.
