Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Manager II, Clinical Operations to lead a team of clinical research professionals across the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on driving quality, performance and delivery within our evolving Clinical Network, spanning FSO and FSP delivery models.

You will develop leaders, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with sponsors and project teams to optimize study execution and resource planning across multiple therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical research experience in CRO/pharma/healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, quality requirements and study delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of clinical research professionals across UK/IRE.
• Drive performance management, career development and succession planning.
• Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and regulatory oversight.
• Manage resource allocation, workload forecasting and workforce planning.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and talent development.
• Partner with project teams and sponsors to support study delivery.
