Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Manager II, Clinical Operations to lead a team of clinical research professionals across the UK/IRE. The role focuses on monitoring, quality, and study delivery, with a strong emphasis on leadership, performance management, and workforce planning.

You will support recruitment, onboarding and talent development while partnering with sponsors and project teams to ensure successful study delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or related field with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' clinical research experience in CRO/pharma/healthcare.
• Experience in monitoring, site management or clinical operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of GCP, quality requirements and study delivery.
• Experience supporting regional/global clinical trial delivery.
• Past people leadership experience with ability to develop and motivate teams.
