Job summary

Roche UK in Welwyn Garden City offers a Clinical Operations Intern placement. You will join multi-disciplinary teams to support development and execution of operational strategies to recruit and retain patients and manage study data for early phase studies worldwide.

The intern will organize documentation, set up Trial Master Files, maintain tracking systems, and support study teams and investigators. Applicants should be in the penultimate or final year and able to work on site most days.

Qualifications

• Must be in penultimate or final year (Year in Industry)
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• Good communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical support to the cross-functional team overseeing early phase clinical study activities
• Develop, maintain and manage study documentation
• Set up and maintain Trial Master Files per SOPs
• Organize tracking systems for planning, execution and close-out
• Coordinate communication of tracking information within the team and with study sites
• Manage supplies, patient recruitment and study metrics
• Coordinate meetings with investigator sites and service providers
• Support development of study-specific plans and processes
• Assist with Welwyn site-wide initiatives as needed
