Job summary

Roche is offering a 13 month Industrial Placement Students (IPS) opportunity in Clinical Operations, based in Welwyn Garden City, UK. The IPS-COA will support study teams across trial start-up, conduct, and close-out, working closely with Global Studies leaders to deliver high-quality trial components in line with GCP and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates are in penultimate or final year with a year in industry, eager to learn, collaborate across functions, and contribute to patient-centric

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Operations: support study team with daily operational tasks.
• Vendor Management: assist in managing external vendors and CROs.
• Drug Supply: support management of clinical drug supply and shipments.
• Site Engagement: strengthen relationships with trial sites and teams.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to GCP and SOPs.
• Networking: participate in forums, meetings, and organisational initiatives.
