Role Summary

To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary Intestinal Failure and Nutrition Team. The post involves providing care to patients requiring artificial nutrition, including direct patient care, clinical management, and service development. The role includes teaching responsibilities throughout the Trust. Previous experience in Nutrition Specialities is required.

More about the role

• Provide specialist care as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the NST service across the hospital.
• Offer advanced clinical management, education, and support to patients and families requiring enteral or parenteral nutrition.
• Conduct outpatient/outreach clinics for enteral or parenteral support, including gastrostomy assessment.
• Act as a nutrition support specialist resource.
• Collaborate on service development with fellow Nutrition Nurse Specialists and provide education and training.

Flexibility in working hours is expected to cover periods of annual leave.

Working hours per week:

To be discussed during interview.
