Seaton Hospice at Home is a specialist palliative care team caring for patients in their own homes.
Nurses work three shifts: 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, and 12:00-20:00, with on-call overnight duties. The specialist nursing team provides 24-hour physical and emotional support to enable patients to remain in their preferred place of care and to achieve the best quality of life.

Are you a dedicated nurse committed to delivering holistic care? Do you have an interest in palliative care? We seek a motivated nurse eager to develop their skills and experience in palliative care, supported by clinical reflective practice and professional development opportunities. The post is for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist, but a developing Band role may be considered.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional, specialist palliative care team working alongside a multidisciplinary team across community and acute care sectors.
The Seaton Hospice at Home operates within an Integrated Model for Palliative and End of Life Care, integrating community services to provide continuous, patient-centered care, often allowing patients to die at home.
The service is managed by the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust, funded by the Seaton League of Friends, providing 24/7 specialist palliative care with shifts covering 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, and 12:00-20:00, with overnight on-call support.
Working Pattern: 30 hours/week over 4 days, with shifts varying between 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, and 12:00-20:00, including overnight on-call duties.
