Sign-on Bonus: For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of experience, and up to $20,000 for those with more than 2 years of RN experience!
The NICU/CCN at The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital is a 51-bed level III-IV unit, the largest ICU in Maine. It features single rooms with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborates closely with various disciplines including surgical, cardiac, GI, genetics, renal, and palliative care. Neonatologists and APPs provide 24/7 coverage, supported by a nursing staff of 150. The unit also has an active critical care transport team and a nurse-driven PICC team.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: 31 beds & Continuing Care NICU: 20 beds
Position Summary
The Clinical Nurse supports Maine Medical Center's mission, vision, and values by demonstrating excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family-centered care, community commitment, and accountability. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care, following national standards and institutional policies. Care may be provided across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
