We are a 30 bed Pediatric Unit at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. We serve the children in the state of Maine from birth to young adulthood. We have over 20 sub-specialists of Pediatric Services. These range from oncology, general surgery, cardiology and many others. Our nurses are normally scheduled 12 hour shifts and every third weekend.
This is a full-time night shift opportunity, schedule consists of 3, 12-hour shifts.
July 7 start date.
Position Summary

In accordance with national standards of nursing practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both Maine Medical Center and the Maine State Board of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care. Care delivery and coordination of patient and family care begins with the initial contact with the health care system and may continue across the continuum. Services may be provided on an inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and/or community basis.
