Job summary

Orchid Healthcare Ltd in Reigate (Surrey) is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead to head our care management team providing complex, dementia, nursing, mental health and palliative care at home. The role is largely office-based with a 21-hour week, starting with £24 per hour and contracted hours that can grow.

• Requires 3+ years experience in complex care.

Responsibilities

• Promote clinical and administrative arrangements for the branch.
• Train carers to ensure highest levels of care in clients' homes.
• Maintain and monitor the health and welfare of clients.
• Liaise with GPs and multi-disciplinary team members and other stakeholders.
• Ensure CQC National Minimum Standards are met and client welfare is secured.
• Organise and attend regular staff meetings.
• Ensure smooth, efficient running of care at all times.

Job Description:

A permanent Clinical Nurse Lead post has become available with a reputable home care company in Reigate that specialise in providing specialist care across Surrey.

The successful candidate will be required to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to all clients receiving care at home. This will include complex care, mental health, learning disability and palliative care needs for people in Redhill and surrounding areas. Good communication skills, previous management experience and a passion for providing outstanding care are therefore essential.

Job requirements of the Care Manager:

• Promote clinical and administrative arrangement for the branch
• Train carers to ensure highest levels of care are provided to clients in their homes
• Maintain and monitor the health and welfare of clients
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals (clients, GPs and other multi-disciplinary team members, commissioners and stakeholders)
• Ensure CQC National Minimum Standards regulations are met to ensure the needs, welfare and social inclusion of the clients are secured
• Organising and attending regular staff meetings
• Ensure the overall smooth, efficient and effective running of the care at all times

Skills / Qualifications Required:

• 3+ years previous experience within complex care
