Job summary

Orchid Healthcare in Walton-on-Thames is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to support the Care Manager in delivering the highest standards of nursing care to frail elderly residents, including those with dementia.

You will lead and inspire a team of nurses and carers, coordinate care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the home’s reputation for excellence. Competitive salary of £50,000 p.a. with immediate interviews.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified nurse – RGN – and registered with the NMC.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a Senior Nurse or Clinical Lead post desirable but not essential.
• Min 5 years hands-on nursing experience.
• Passion for elderly care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Care Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality nursing care for frail elderly residents.
• Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers and ensure smooth running of the home.
• Maintain high quality care and uphold the home’s reputation as a centre of excellence.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals and multi-disciplinary team members.

A permanent Clinical Lead Nurse post has become available in a nursing home in Walton-on-Thames that provides specialist care to the elderly!

The successful Clinical Lead Nurse candidate will be required to assist the Care Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the homes frail elderly residents, some of who may suffer with dementia. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of nurses and carers and helping to ensure the smooth running of this reputable nursing home.
