Job summary

William James Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive for Nottingham. You will run your own caseload on clinical negligence claims and progress matters from inception to conclusion with supervision as needed.

This role offers up to £75,000 plus benefits and a bonus, with hybrid and flexible working, and real opportunities to develop within a respected, growing specialist department of a Legal 500 ranked firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with Clinical Negligence experience.
• Experience managing your own caseload.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage a varied workload.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• A genuine interest in Clinical Negligence work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Run your own caseload of Clinical Negligence claims.
• Investigate and litigate multi-track cases under supervision.
• Manage cases from inception through to conclusion.
• Draft a wide range of legal documentation.
• Progress complex and technically challenging claims.
