William James Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in Manchester to manage a caseload and support senior solicitors. Qualifications

• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with clinical negligence experience.
• Experience handling a Clinical Negligence caseload.
• Strong knowledge of the Clinical Negligence Pre-Action Protocol.
• Good understanding of CPR and litigation procedure.
• Experience working to KPIs and deadlines.
• Experience training or supporting junior colleagues (desirable).
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Strong communication and client care ability.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable Manchester law firm with an established reputation in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. As the department continues to expand, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to strengthen its specialist team.

The Role:

• Manage your own caseload of Clinical Negligence files
• Support Senior Solicitors on complex pre-litigation and litigated claims
• Investigate liability and review medical records in detail
• Instruct medical experts and obtain evidence
• Draft Letters of Claim and other legal documents
• Assess quantum and prepare Part 36 offersProgress files in line with CPR and Pre-Action Protocol requirements
• Deliver excellent client care throughout the claims process
