Job summary

KERV Legal, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing Manchester team. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through settlement or trial, working alongside experienced solicitors to deliver excellent client outcomes.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working, a 35-hour week, and a supportive environment with ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ plus) or equivalent experience in clinical negligence.
• Experience managing or assisting with a clinical negligence caseload.
• Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims.
• Handling both pre-litigation and litigated matters.
• Drafting Letters of Claim, witness statements and other legal documentation.
• Instructing medical experts and reviewing evidence.
• Negotiating settlements and progressing claims efficiently.
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex clinical negligence cases.
• Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Maintaining excellent client care throughout the litigation process.

A top 100, national law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing Manchester team.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while working alongside experienced solicitors and senior lawyers on matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
