Job summary

SaccoMann is recruiting a Solicitor for its Health Litigation team in Leeds. You will manage clinical negligence claims including obstetric, neonatal and brain injury matters, providing clear advice to clients and coordinating with experts and counsel.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3–9 years PQE in Clinical Negligence.
• Experience with NHS Resolution or MDO work is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent organisational, communication and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proactive with attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
• Open to mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims (obstetric, neonatal and brain injury).
• Analyse evidence, advise clients, instruct experts and counsel.
• Attend Court, negotiate settlements and participate in conferences and trials.
• Supervise junior team members and develop your specialism.
• Contribute to the firm's health litigation reputation.
