CapeClarke is recruiting a solicitor to develop a claimant clinical negligence practice in Leeds. The role is hybrid, balancing in-office and home working, with a salary up to £55,000 depending on experience.

You will review medical records, investigate breaches of duty, obtain expert evidence and guide clients through the claims process with sensitivity, supporting more senior colleagues on complex cases. Leeds-based role requires strong organisation and clear communication with clients,

Qualifications

• Solicitor with clinical negligence experience.
• NQ–3 PQE or equivalent exposure to claimant work.
• Ability to manage files and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and breach of duty.
• Investigate causation and obtain expert evidence.
• Progress files and support senior colleagues on complex claims.
