CRA are working with a well-established law firm in Sheffield that is looking to appoint an experienced Clinical Negligence Fee Earner to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated fee earner who wants to handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters within a supportive and professionally focused environment.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to settlement, working closely with clients and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims.
• Assessing new claims and advising clients on prospects and strategy.
• Investigating claims and obtaining relevant medical evidence.
• Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel where appropriate.
• Preparing schedules of loss and other case documentation.
• Negotiating settlements and progressing claims through litigation where required.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and deadlines.
• Providing a high standard of client care throughout the claims process.
