Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to care teams, promoting resident safety, wellbeing and dignity.
• Oversee clinical governance, completing audits and ensuring documentation meets standards.
• Lead MDT meetings and coordinate with internal/external professionals to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Develop, supervise and assess clinical staff through appraisals, CPD and training.
• Maintain compliance with CQC, NMC, Health & Safety and company policies.
• Monitor clinical equipment, identify risks and drive continuous improvement with the GM.

Registered Nurse

Contract: Full Time- Perm

Hour: 37 hours per week

Pay: £55,564 per annum

Shift Times: 9am - 5.30pm

We are seeking a team of enthusiastic adult Nurse qualified Clinical Manager to provide oversight of our residential nursing care provision for older people in a wonderful spacious and modern home at Melwood Grange Care Home in Royston. A luxury, 73 bed purpose-built care home set in the Hertfordshire countryside, Melwood Grange offers exceptional care in stylish surroundings, with premium facilities including a cinema, café, hair and beauty salon, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

As a Clinical Manager, you will coordinate the assessment, management and care of residents with long-term and complex health conditions, ensuring safe, high quality care while helping to reduce avoidable hospital admissions. The role also provides expert guidance and support to the wider care team.

What You’ll Bring

• A current NMC registration (Band 6 or above), supported by ongoing professional development and a passion for clinical excellence.

• Proven experience leading and developing teams within a healthcare, nursing home or community care setting.

• A flexible and resilient approach, with strong IT skills, the ability to work under pressure, and access to a vehicle for travel as required.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to care teams, promoting resident safety, wellbeing and dignity.
• Oversee clinical governance, completing audits and ensuring assessments, care documentation and practices meet required standards.
• Lead and participate in MDT meetings, working with internal and external professionals to coordinate high-quality resident care.
• Develop, supervise and assess clinical staff through appraisals, competency reviews, CPD and targeted training.
• Maintain compliance with CQC, NMC, Health & Safety and company policies, ensuring best practice is embedded across the service.
• Monitor clinical equipment, identify and elevate risks or performance concerns, and work with the General Manager to drive continuous improvement.
