Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres is seeking a Clinical Lead for our Buckingham care home. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee resident care, and drive quality improvements with a resident-centred approach.

We value compassion, strong assessment and communication, and the ability to coordinate with families and external professionals. Hours: 44 per week, day shifts with some nights.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with current registration.
• Experience in a senior clinical or leadership role in a care or nursing home.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee all resident care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create person-centred care plans.
• Ensure safeguarding, dignity and clinical governance standards.
• Create and review personalised care plans.
• Manage medication safely following policies.
• Liaise with external professionals to coordinate care.
• Promote strong relationships between residents, families and staff.

Your Role:

As the Clinical Lead, you’ll be a key figure in ensuring that every resident receives personalised, respectful, and effective care. You will, lead on quality improvement initiatives across the home, champion a resident-first approach, identifying clinical, health, and social care needs, advocate for excellence in care and support resident independence and dignity and develop and manage individualised care pathways tailored to each resident.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee all aspects of resident care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create detailed, person-centred care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, dignity, and clinical governance standards
• Creating, reviewing, and delivering personalised care plans
• Manage medication safely and effectively, in line with national and organisational policies
• Liaise effectively with external professionals to coordinate and deliver care
• Promote strong relationships between residents, families, and staff

What We’re Looking For:

• NMC-registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or equivalent)
• Experience in a in a senior clinical or leadership role in a care or nursing home setting
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Passion for person-centred care and a deep understanding of elderly needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Flexibility to cover Night Shifts where needed.
