Main duties of the job

We'd like you to join us as a Clinical Lead - RGN at our Chislehurst service. Chislehurst is a 15-bed service providing specialist residential rehabilitation for adults with an acquired brain injury or long-term neurological conditions. The Clinical Lead will support the Registered Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to all residents. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, leading on safeguarding, quality, and governance to improve and develop all aspects of care. The person will provide visible clinical leadership, influence service development, and embed continuous improvement in quality of care. They will also focus on patient experience, learning from incidents, and ensuring these practices are part of everyday routines. This is a Nurse qualified role

Job responsibilities
  • The post holder will have responsibility for leadership and line management of staff across all areas and is the designated lead for quality and governance.
  • As a Senior Nurse, they will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care, providing assurance of standards.
  • They will promote a culture of openness, responsiveness, person-centred care, and positive learning from incidents within a high-performing service.
  • The post holder will lead the governance agenda, ensuring compliance with external and internal quality standards, including CQC and ICB regulations.
  • They will provide visible clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care, infection control, and cleanliness.
