Training and Audit Clinical Specialist - Supernumerary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 41 hours per week, including a paid meal break

Salary: c £55k p.a. plus 25/30 days holiday rising with service, plus bank holidays

Are you an experienced clinician in a care home who enjoys training and audits?

My client is an Outstanding care home in central London and is seeking a passionate and motivated clinician with good CQC knowledge to support the management team in training and auditing.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Training new and existing staff
  2. Ensuring all clinically focused staff have completed role-relevant training and possess the necessary skills to practice safely
  3. Devising individual training plans in discussion with the home manager
  4. Producing an annual training needs analysis for clinical staff, covering both mandatory and professional development training
  5. Supporting the home to deliver clinical training on topics such as personal care, medication management, patient assessment, infection prevention and control, manual handling, and care planning
  6. Collaborating with the management team on back-to-work plans, gradual returns, and development plans for staff requiring performance improvement
  7. Reassessing and retraining individuals or teams following clinical incidents and significant events
  8. Maintaining your own professional development and registration
  9. Organising, planning, and delivering training to groups of clinical staff

You will be an RGN with a training qualification and experience in a care home environment.
