Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide clinical leadership to the Therapy Team in the South West locality. The role goes beyond management, shaping rehabilitation pathways and influencing service delivery across the community.

You will lead with energy and compassion, build relationships with patients, families and colleagues, and drive high-quality, person-centred care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of line managing staff.
• Managing conflicting demands.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team management and leadership style and skill.
• Car driver with access to a car for work.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships as central point of knowledge for the MDT, patients, families and carers.
• Collaborate with MDT, acute, community and social care partners to remove barriers and ensure safe, timely discharge.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes and safeguarding, MCA and continuing care criteria.
• Responsible for operational management of your team and their development.
