Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting an Occupational Therapy Team Lead to oversee high-quality rehabilitation on a general ward. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, deliver specialist OT assessments and treatments, and provide expert guidance to health and social care colleagues to maximise patient independence.

You will work with the OT Lead to develop the service and strengthen partnerships with health and social care.

Qualifications

• Specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment.
• Evidence-based approaches to support rehabilitation goals.
• Act as a specialist clinical resource for OT colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work as an active member of the multidisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation team, supporting patients with multiple and complex conditions.
• Provide highly specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment to support individual rehabilitation goals.
• Provide expert occupational therapy advice and information to health and social care professionals, carers, relatives and other relevant individuals.
• Support the OT Lead with service development and initiatives that strengthen integrated working with partner organisations.
• Share specialist knowledge and contribute to the development of occupational therapy practice across the service.
• Promote person-centred care and collaborative working to support safe, effective and high-quality rehabilitation.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment, supporting colleagues to develop their clinical knowledge and skills.
