Job summary

Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead for our inpatient services in Health and Justice. The role is based at Oakwood, a locked forensic rehabilitation ward, working with a multi-disciplinary team to support patients with learning disabilities and/or autism.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership, oversight, and supervision across a 7-day, 24-hour service, with responsibilities including roster management, care planning, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• 18 months post-qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework at the point of application.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to support the Team Manager and provide clinical oversight.
• Ro ster management and rostering across a 7-day week / 24-hour period as required.
• Lead and drive care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate training and development needs for staff and students.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff.
