Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse (Charge Nurse) for a brand new role in a Northern Ireland care home. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional nursing care, develop care plans, assess risks, and ensure accurate records using modern technology.

The successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC pin, with experience in elderly care and a strong focus on governance and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC pin.
• Experience leading a care team in elderly/complex care.
• Proficient in care planning and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and governance.

Job description

A brand new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the County Antrim, Northern Ireland area.You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This is a special care home provides nursing care for those who have complex medical needs and for people living with dementia.We also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break

As the Charge Nurse your key responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
• Producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology
• Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
• Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner
• Utilising your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members
• Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner
• Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Ability to lead a team of care staff
• Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families
• A team player who engages well with others
• Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
• People Management experience
• Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services

**To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £22.50 per hour and the annual salary is £51,480 per annum.This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 44 hours a week working on both days and nights rota basis.In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
