Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse for a premium care home in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. You will lead a team of care staff, develop care plans, and oversee medicine management, ensuring compliance with NMC and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
• Experience leading care staff in elderly nursing and dementia care.
• Knowledge of care planning, risk assessment and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Produce care plans and risk assessments per regulatory requirements.
• Oversee medicine management and documentation on shift.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to the team in line with NMC Code.
• Make timely clinical decisions and ensure resident safety.

A brand new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the County Antrim, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

This is a special care home provides nursing care for those who have complex medical needs and for people living with dementia. We also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break

As the Charge Nurse your key responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
• Producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology
• Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
• Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner
• Utilising your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members
• Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner
• Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Ability to lead a team of care staff
• Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families
• A team player who engages well with others
• Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
• Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services

To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £21.50 - £22.50 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 44 hours a week working on both days and nights rota basis.
