Job summary

The Hampshire Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Clinical Lead in Imaging to oversee day-to-day service delivery and lead a multi-disciplinary team. This full-time role (37.5 hours) offers responsibility for clinical standards, staff deployment and high-quality patient care.

Applicants should have a Diagnostic Radiography degree or diploma, at least two years of supervisory experience in a multi-modality imaging department, and knowledge of IRMER/IRR17 and HCPC codes.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiography post or equivalent.
• Customer care experience including handling challenging situations.
• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a multi-modality imaging department.
• Broad radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised areas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and related systems.
• Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct/Accountability.
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery with professionalism, ensuring effective staff deployment and high-quality, patient-focused service.
• Maintain dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on clinical aspects of Imaging service delivery and maximise sessional use.
• Attend meetings with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues (minimum annually).
• Build and maintain excellent multi-disciplinary consultant relations to meet clinical requirements.
• Monitor revenue capture procedures and ensure charges are prepared and dispatched timely.
• Conduct radiographic examinations autonomously and as part of a multi-professional team in line with standards.
