The Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Clinical Lead to join the Imaging team. This full-time role offers up to £50,000 per year and 37.5 hours weekly in a permanent position.

You will oversee day-to-day imaging service delivery, liaise with Consultant Radiologists, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting the DCS in optimising sessional use.

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute hospital Radiography post or equivalent.
• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a multi-modality imaging department.
• Broad radiographic background with expertise in specialised areas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and related systems.
• Aware of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct/Accountability.
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 Regulations.
• Experience in customer care and handling challenging situations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery with professional staff deployment.
• Engage with Consultant Radiologists on imaging service delivery and maximise sessional use.
• Attend annual meetings with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues.
• Maintain excellent relations with consultants to meet clinical requirements.
• Monitor revenue capture procedures; ensure timely charging and dispatch.
• Conduct radiographic examinations autonomously and as part of a team.
• Work with the DCS and RPA to ensure regulatory compliance of imaging.
• Comply with mandatory training requirements.

The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• You oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery, with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring effective deployment of staff and provision of a high quality, responsive, patient focused service.
• You maintain ongoing dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on all clinical aspects of Imaging service delivery and support the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in ensuring sessional use is maximised.
• You support the DCS by attending meetings (minimum annual) with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues.
• You build and maintain excellent multi-disciplinary consultant relations, ensuring clinical service delivery meets clinical requirements.
• You monitor all revenue capture procedures and ensure that charges are completed, checked and dispatched in a timely manner.
• You conduct radiographic examinations as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi professional team in line with professional & departmental standards.
• You work with the RPA and the DCS to ensure the imaging department complies with all statutory regulations.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiography post or equivalent.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
• A Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.
• A wide general radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised areas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
• Aware of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 Regulations.
