The Park Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Clinical Lead for Imaging. This full-time role (37.5 hours) offers a salary of up to £50,000 per year and requires a flexible shift pattern and leadership within the imaging team.

As Clinical Lead you will oversee day-to-day service delivery, work with Consultant Radiologists and the DCS to maximise sessional use, monitor revenue capture, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting staff through

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute hospital setting in a senior radiography role or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 regulations.
• Familiarity with healthcare service systems and processes.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery with high professionalism and staff deployment.
• Maintain dialogue with Consultant Radiologists and support the Director of Clinical Services in maximising sessional use.
• Attend meetings with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues at least annually.
• Build and maintain multidisciplinary consultant relations to meet clinical requirements.
• Monitor revenue capture procedures and ensure charges are processed promptly.
• Conduct radiographic examinations as an autonomous practitioner within a team.
• Ensure imaging department compliance with statutory regulations in collaboration with RPA and DCS.
• Comply with relevant mandatory training.

The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

• You oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery, with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring effective deployment of staff and provision of a high quality, responsive, patient focused service.
• You maintain ongoing dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on all clinical aspects of Imaging service delivery and support the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in ensuring sessional use is maximised.
• You support the DCS by attending meetings (minimum annual) with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues.
• You build and maintain excellent multi-disciplinary consultant relations, ensuring clinical service delivery meets clinical requirements.
• You monitor all revenue capture procedures and ensure that charges are completed, checked and dispatched in a timely manner.
• You conduct radiographic examinations as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi professional team in line with professional & departmental standards.
• You work with the RPA and the DCS to ensure the imaging department complies with all statutory regulations.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiography post or equivalent.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
• A Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.
• A wide general radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised areas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
• Aware of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 Regulations.
