Job summary

Circle Health Group in Enfield is seeking a Clinical Lead to oversee Imaging services (MRI/CT) at Cavell Hospital. This full-time role covers 37.5 hours weekly, with a salary up to £53,000 per year, dependent on experience, training, and qualification.

The candidate will lead day-to-day clinical service delivery, engage with Radiologists, and support the DCS in maximizing sessional use while ensuring regulatory compliance and high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Radiographer in an acute hospital.
• 3 years MRI experience; CT experience desirable.
• Experience with GE MRI scanners.
• Strong customer care with challenging situations.
• HCPC Code of Conduct knowledge.
• IRMER and IRR17 Regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery with professional staff.
• Maintain dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on clinical issues.
• Attend annual meetings with Radiologists to discuss issues.
• Build and maintain multi-disciplinary relations in imaging.
• Monitor revenue capture, ensure charges are accurate.
• Conduct radiographic examinations autonomously and within team.
• Ensure imaging department compliance with regulations.
• Ensure mandatory training is completed.

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• You oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery, with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring effective deployment of staff and provision of a high quality, responsive, patient focused service.
• You maintain ongoing dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on all clinical aspects of Imaging service delivery and support the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in ensuring sessional use is maximised.
• You support the DCS by attending meetings (minimum annual) with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues.
• You build and maintain excellent multi-disciplinary consultant relations, ensuring clinical service delivery meets clinical requirements.
• You monitor all revenue capture procedures and ensure that charges are completed, checked and dispatched in a timely manner.
• You conduct radiographic examinations as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi professional team in line with professional & departmental standards.
• You work with the RPA and the DCS to ensure the imaging department complies with all statutory regulations.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiography post or equivalent.
• 3 years experience in MRI essential with CT experience desirable.
• Experience with GE MRI scanners essential.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
• A Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.
• A wide general radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised areas.
• Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
• Aware of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 Regulations.
