Job summary

PHL Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead GP to join Dudley Urgent Treatment Centre and provide clinical leadership across the service. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and combines strong clinical expertise with governance and quality improvement responsibilities.

You will lead audits, safeguard, support GPs, and drive KPIs and national service specifications. Collaboration with the Medical Director and safeguarding lead is essential to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have MBBS or equivalent and GMC registration.
• Completion of GP training / CCT or equivalent.
• Inclusion on Medical Performers List with no restrictions.
• MRCGP or equivalent.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical consultations and assessments.
• Provide clinical leadership, advice and support to GPs and clinical colleagues.
• Lead on clinical quality assurance and audits.
• Support KPIs and national service specifications.
• Lead clinical audits, quality improvement projects and standard setting.
