Job summary

OneMedical Group in Minehead is seeking a Clinical Lead GP to steer clinical governance and service development within a busy primary care service. The role combines hands-on GP clinics with leadership duties across a practice of around 10,000 patients.

The successful candidate will be GMC-registered, on the GP Specialty Register and on the Performers List, with a strong interest in audit, quality improvement and team development.

Qualifications

• GMC registration as a GP and entitlement to practice in the UK.
• Registered on GP Specialty Register with access to the Performers List.
• Proven experience in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical leadership and mentorship across the multidisciplinary team.
• Act as CQC Registered Manager and oversee governance, safety and compliance.
• Support recruitment, development and retention of clinical colleagues.
• Collaborate with Business Manager on service improvement and sustainable primary care.
• Deliver high-quality planned and urgent primary care with continuity.
• Lead clinical meetings and support quality improvement and medicines management.
