Job summary

Leaders in Care is recruiting a Clinical Lead for an award-winning care home in Kirkby in Ashfield. You will oversee care standards, support the manager, and ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.

This is a patient-focused role with strong team leadership and governance responsibilities. The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse (RGN) with a current NMC PIN, experience at senior level, and a commitment to developing staff through bespoke induction and ongoing

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse (RGN) with valid NMC PIN.
• Knowledge of clinical care systems and governance.
• Experience at Senior Nurse or Clinical Lead level in a care home.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care standards delivered by qualified staff.
• Support the Manager in implementing policies, procedures and objectives.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and ensure new needs are met in care plans.
• Act as main contact with residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals.

Duties in this Clinical Lead role:

• Responsibility for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified care staff.
• Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Monitoring the well-being of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met.
• Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals.

The ideal candidate for this Clinical Lead role will be:

• Must be a qualified nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Have good knowledge and use of clinical care systems and governance.
• Have prior experience at Senior Nurse or Clinical Lead level within a care home.
