Job summary

Ingeus UK is seeking a Functional Assessor to utilise clinical expertise and deliver thorough functional assessments for claimants. The role supports better work-life balance with flexibility to work in a centre or hybrid setup.

Starting salary is £51,582 with potential uplifts based on milestones and learning new specialist skills. A discretionary bonus of up to 10% per quarter and additional benefits are offered as part of ongoing development within Ingeus and the wider APM Group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months post-registration clinical experience.
• Willingness to maintain professional registration and adapt to a new assessment role.
• Ability to work in a hybrid/onsite setting with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out functional assessments with claimants in person, via video, or by phone.
• Produce high-quality, structured reports for submission to the DWP.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure fair assessments.
