Ingeus invites clinicians to join as Functional Assessors, leveraging their clinical expertise while maintaining registration and enjoying a better work-life balance. The role offers flexible working arrangements including hybrid options, with initial training and accreditation to DWP standards.
You’ll produce detailed reports and collaborate with senior clinicians to ensure fair, high-quality assessments for claimants.
Are you looking to your clinical skills in a different way? As a Functional Assessor, you'll continue to utilise your clinical expertise, maintain your registration, and enjoy a better work-life balance. If you have a minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience and have been practising as a clinician throughout the last year, we'd love to hear from you.
We offer a number of flexible working arrangements that suit those who prefer to work in an Assessment Centre full time or in a hybrid role.
Working hours throughout your training are 9.00am -5.00pm Monday to Friday.Once training has been completed (typically around six months), other working patterns are available.
Whilst you will not be making decisions or recommendations as to the services and benefits for claimants, you will be using your clinical experience to ask the right questions to fully understand the claimants needs and living environment, gathering accurate information for the DWP to make those decisions.
Many clinicians find the role of a Functional Assessor rewarding, but it’s also challenging at the same time and it’s not the right fit for everyone.
