The paediatric department has an assessment unit, inpatient ward, and outpatient clinics across Ayrshire and Arran. The role involves working within a junior tier rota with support from consultants and registrars. NHS Ayrshire & Arran serves approximately 367,000 residents, with a modern hospital and a neonatal unit integrated with the maternity service.
