Job Opportunity: Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Fellow to join our friendly, enthusiastic Anaesthetic team at University Hospitals Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB), based at the Royal Derby Hospital site.

These are fixed-term posts, and candidates wishing to work less than full-time will be considered and supported, taking into account service needs.

This post offers the opportunity to gain further clinical anaesthetic experience, demonstrating your knowledge and capabilities in selected clinical and non-clinical domains.

On-call duties will be on a 2-tier obstetric anaesthetic rota, working within a team of trainees, specialty, and specialist anaesthetists, under the leadership of the Consultant on call.

The successful applicant will participate in providing anaesthesia to patients across various surgical specialties, based on clinical experience and educational needs.

While this is not a formal training post accredited by Health Education West/East Midlands, we offer opportunities for career progression.
