An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a passionate haematology/oncology nurse to lead clinical education and support staff development. Working with a vision of “delivering excellence in everything we do”, the post holder will be based within the department of clinical haematology/oncology.
The post holder will be an enthusiastic, proactive role model who leads in the clinical environment on the provision of clinical education and assessment of competence within the haematology/oncology department. The successful candidate will be passionate about patient care, staff support, and education. They will be an experienced haematology/oncology nurse and a strong team player, with extensive knowledge of the specialty.

Clinical
To support the development of staff, and foster empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidence-based nursing practice.
To coordinate orientation of new staff.
To promote reflective practice, clinical supervision, and experiential learning opportunities, developing a learning culture in the clinical environment. To contribute towards the development and maintenance of clinical staff competence in the use of medical equipment in the clinical area, in order to comply with the Trust’s health and safety policy.
To be a visible role model to ensure that the dignity, rights, and confidentiality of patients and individual team members are protected and maintained in accordance with national standards and guidelines.
