Job summary

Libertatem is seeking an exceptional Clinical Director to join the senior leadership team. You will drive clinical excellence, governance and continuous improvement across services, partnering with Operations, Quality, Recruitment and Business Development to deliver safe, person-centred care.

You will lead a high-performing clinical workforce, shape service development, and represent the organisation with clients, commissioners and regulators.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Significant senior clinical leadership experience in complex healthcare or regulated environments.
• Experience with complex care in community settings.
• Experience in governance, safeguarding, risk management and quality improvement.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and UK health and social care regulation.
• Proven track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
• Expertise in ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, ventilation and/or tracheostomy care.
• Experience as Nominated Individual or Responsible Individual is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, credible clinical leadership to the organisation and senior leadership team.
• Oversee clinical governance framework, risk management, safeguarding, incidents and medication governance.
• Lead workforce development, coaching and professional development of clinical leads and teams.
• Ensure safe, capable service delivery and continuous improvement across all services.
• Support regulatory compliance and engage with commissioners, regulators and stakeholders.
