Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd in Halesowen is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN) to lead the Woodview Care Home clinical team and support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

The role focuses on clinical leadership, governance and developing staff, with responsibilities across infection control, supervision, and maintaining a positive, compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid NMC Pin.
• Experience in leadership roles within clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of person-centred care and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day leadership and management of the home.
• Leading and coordinating the nursing team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Promoting dignity, independence, privacy and choice for every resident.
• Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to the nursing team.
• Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, compliance and quality.
• Taking lead responsibility for Infection Prevention and Control, including audits and continuous improvement.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, GPs and external healthcare professionals.
• Supporting recruitment, induction and development of new colleagues.
• Conducting supervision, probation reviews and annual appraisals.
• Helping to foster a culture of engagement, learning and continuous improvement.
• Acting as the senior leader within the home in the Registered Manager's absence.
