Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking an experienced Residential Deputy Manager at Forest View in Burgess Hill to lead a dedicated team and support the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care. The role focuses on ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a 60-bed home, with a salary of £42,598.74 per year and a 37-hour week.

You'll lead by example, promote kindness, and monitor care plans while maintaining CQC/CIW standards.

• Knowledge of person-centered care principles.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day leadership and management of the home.
• Lead and mentor care teams to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Develop, review and monitor personalised care plans.
• Ensure compliance with CQC/CIW regulations and safeguarding.
• Support recruitment, supervision and staff development.
• Drive continuous improvement through quality assurance and clinical governance.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
