Job summary

Maplebrook Care Home is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead clinical governance and high-quality care delivery in Wolverhampton. You will oversee care planning, medication management and risk, ensuring regulatory standards are met while supporting senior leadership.

This senior role requires strong leadership, decision-making and mentoring skills to develop staff and drive continuous improvement within a purpose-built home for up to 81 residents.

Qualifications

• RN/RMN with valid NMC PIN
• Strong leadership and clinical governance experience
• Experience with audits and regulatory compliance
• Ability to mentor and develop staff

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical governance oversight, ensuring standards are met across the service.
• Oversee care planning, medication management and risk to deliver person-centred care.
• Lead audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide hands-on leadership to nursing and care teams and act as Deputy to the Home Manager.
• Manage day-to-day operations in the Home and make informed, resident-focused decisions.
