Job summary

Regal Care Trading Limited is seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to support the Registered Home Manager in delivering high-quality nursing and person-centred care for our residents. The role requires strong leadership, NMC PIN, and extensive dementia care experience in a care-home setting.

You will oversee clinical standards, supervise nursing teams, manage medications, and ensure regulatory compliance with CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration and PIN are essential.
• Experience in elderly and dementia care with senior nursing or clinical lead roles.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Experience with medication management and risk assessments.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• IT literacy and electronic care planning experience.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Home Manager in day-to-day clinical and operational management.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to nursing and care staff.
• Oversee care plans, clinical risk assessments and documentation.
• Monitor residents' health, identify changes and initiate interventions.
• Oversee safe medication management and auditing.
• Support complex nursing needs including wound care and end-of-life care.
• Deputise for the Registered Home Manager when required.
• Engage with residents and families to ensure dignity and person-centred care.
• Lead investigations into incidents, safeguarding concerns and complaints.
• Drive quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
