Job summary

Kingsacre Care Home in Clydebank, Scotland, is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead clinical governance, care planning, and medication management. This senior role will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care for residents.

You will provide hands-on leadership to nursing and care teams, mentor staff, oversee day-to-day operations in the Home Manager's absence, and drive continuous improvement in a supportive, values-driven

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
Strong clinical knowledge and experience within a care setting.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Experience in clinical governance, audits and compliance.
Ability to support, mentor and develop staff; confident decision making and problem solving.
Compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk.
Monitor performance, carry out audits, support inspections and pursue continuous improvement.
Provide visible, hands-on leadership to nursing and care teams.
Act as Deputy to the Home Manager and oversee daily operations in their absence.
Make informed decisions to support residents and staff.
