Job summary

Syner-Med seeks a Clinical Applications Specialist (Diagnostics & Urology) to be the clinical face of our urology portfolio in the field. You will embed point-of-care diagnostics in NHS and private hospitals, providing clinical support and medical information, while engaging clinicians and KOLs across the UK.

You’ll work autonomously with regular UK travel, initially focused in urology and expanding to obstetrics as the product line grows, combining scientific insight with hands-on deployment.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and a clinical/scientific background relevant to infection or diagnostics.
• Involvement with point-of-care testing in NHS settings and relevant QA processes.
• Ability to manage a UK travel diary and hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience supporting diagnostics products and service evaluations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the clinical lead for embedding IVDs at sites, coordinating training and SOP integration.
• Address clinical questions by hospital teams and ensure up-to-date training materials.
• Support KOLs and advisory boards; present clinical evidence and real-world data.
• Develop relationships across urology, microbiology, and obstetrics for NHS adoption.
• Conduct service evaluations and audits to demonstrate clinical impact.
