What’s in it for you?

Located in North Saanich on 28 acres of forested hillside, it features serene ocean views from spacious rooms, welcoming common areas, and a world-class team of physicians, psychiatrists, counselors, and 24-hour nursing professionals.

As our Clinical Administrator, you will:

  • Support the Clinical Director and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) with day-to-day clinical operations including program scheduling, preparation of client materials, coordination of attendance, maintenance of client information in various systems/files, and coordinating discharge information to applicable after-care clinics.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate client schedules and organize various program requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication across all teams regarding adjustments, changes, and key information related to scheduling and programming
  • Support clients in understanding their programming schedules and ensure each client has an accurate group schedule/plan
  • Maintain patient care systems with updated client information from admission through discharge
  • Distribute client medical records and disseminate applicable information to clinical staff to facilitate weekly case conferences
  • Develop and distribute orientation packages for new clients
  • Compile program materials for the IDT team
  • Ensure adequate staffing to run programming and make adjustments in consultation with the Clinical Director
  • Process all discharges, update client aftercare information, and disseminate discharge information to support ongoing patient care post-discharge
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the Clinical Director and IDT, including support for projects, presentations, materials, reports, and correspondence
  • Monitor the main Ravensview telephone line and respond to routine inquiries

  • Previous experience and/or training as an Administrative Professional
  • 1-2 years recent related experience in an administrative/health care role
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
