Job summary

The DaVita UK dialysis clinic is seeking an experienced clinical leader to manage the nurses and support staff, delivering patient-focused care and overseeing the clinic’s day-to-day operations. The role includes governance, regulatory liaison with NHS Trusts and the CQC, and driving improvements in patient experience.

Day shifts only, Monday to Saturday. Applicants must have full NMC registration and CQC Registered Manager status, or a commitment to achieving it.

Qualifications

• Appropriate nursing qualifications.
• Continued professional development, ideally in renal care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinic's nurses and support staff to deliver patient-focused care.
• Oversee clinic operations and governance procedures.
• Ensure a seamless patient journey and welcoming environment at all touchpoints.
• Liaise with NHS Trusts and the CQC with Regional Manager support.
• Drive quality improvement through new processes.
• Onboard new teammates and develop strong team relationships.
• Manage complaints and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and timely reporting.

What the job involves

• Leading the clinic's nurses and support staff to deliver individualised, patient-focused care
• Overall leadership and operations management of the clinic
• Providing a seamless patient journey and an inviting environment at every touchpoint
• Liaising with external organisations such as NHS Trusts and the CQC, with Regional Manager support
• Implementing new processes to drive quality improvement across the clinic
• Onboarding new teammates alongside the wider team
• Developing positive relationships with patients and handling complaints
• Ensuring compliance with clinical, governance and regulatory systems and policies, including KLoE
• Maintaining accurate records and submitting reports on time

Qualifications

• Appropriate nursing qualifications
• Evidence of continued professional development, ideally in renal care

Registration & licences

• Full NMC registration
• Registered Manager with the CQC, or willingness to become one

Experience

• Previous clinical leadership experience in an outpatient haemodialysis setting
• Dialysis or renal experience
