Job summary

DaVita UK is recruiting a Clinic Manager for its dialysis clinic in the UK. The role leads nurses and support staff, coordinating clinical, administrative and operational work to ensure a high-quality patient experience. You will liaise with NHS Trusts and the CQC, implementing new quality improvements and onboarding new team members.

The post is day-shift, Monday to Saturday, with an emphasis on compliant governance, patient safety and exceptional organisational delivery.

Qualifications

• Full NMC registration with nursing qualifications.
• Evidence of continued professional development, ideally in renal care.

Job description

This is a Clinic Manager post at the dialysis clinic run by DaVita UK, which provides kidney care in partnership with the NHS. The role leads a team of nurses and support staff and coordinates the clinical, administrative and operational work of the clinic, including patient complaints and liaison with NHS Trusts and the CQC. It is a day-shift post running Monday to Saturday. Candidates need full NMC registration and prior clinical leadership in outpatient haemodialysis.

What the job involves

• Lead and manage the clinic overall, including its operations
• Lead the nursing and support team in delivering individualised, patient-focused care
• Coordinate the day-to-day clinical, administrative and operational activities of the clinic
• Provide a seamless patient journey and a welcoming environment at every point of contact
• Liaise with NHS Trusts and the CQC, with support from the Regional Manager
• Introduce new processes to drive quality improvement across the clinic
• Onboard new team members alongside the wider team
• Build positive relationships with patients and handle complaints
• Ensure compliance with clinical, governance and regulatory systems and policies, including KLoE
• Maintain accurate records and submit reports on time

Qualifications

• Full NMC registration with appropriate nursing qualifications
• Evidence of continued professional development, ideally in renal care

Registration & licences

• Registered Manager with the CQC, or willingness to become one

Experience

• Previous clinical leadership experience in an outpatient haemodialysis setting
• Dialysis or renal experience
