Job summary

DaVita UK is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead the dialysis clinic and its team of nurses and support staff. You will oversee patient-focused care and the day-to-day clinical, administrative and operational running of the clinic, liaising with the NHS and CQC and driving quality improvement.

The role requires full NMC registration and a willingness to obtain CQC Registered Manager status, with proven clinical leadership in outpatient haemodialysis.

Qualifications

• Full NMC registration with appropriate nursing qualifications.
• Evidence of continued professional development, ideally in renal care.
• Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission, or willingness to become one.

Responsibilities

Job description

Clinic Manager post running the DaVita UK dialysis clinic and leading its team of nurses and support staff. The role covers patient-focused care, the day-to-day clinical, administrative and operational running of the clinic, liaison with the NHS and CQC, and quality improvement. Day shifts only, Monday to Saturday, in a nurse-led provider that works in partnership with the NHS. Applicants need full NMC registration, CQC Registered Manager status or willingness to gain it, and previous clinical leadership in outpatient haemodialysis.

What the job involves

• Lead the nursing and support team to deliver individualised, patient-focused care
• Coordinate the day-to-day clinical, administrative and operational activities
• Provide a seamless patient journey and an welcoming environment at every touchpoint
• Liaise with NHS Trusts and the CQC, supported by the Regional Manager
• Implement processes that drive quality improvement across the clinic
• Onboard new team members alongside the wider team

• Ensure compliance with clinical, governance and regulatory systems and policies, including KLoE
• Maintain accurate records and submit reports on time
