Clatterbridge Diagnostics Centre has an exciting opportunity for clinic clerks to join our team.

The role will be based at Clatterbridge Diagnostics Centre on the Clatterbridge Hospital site. Hours will vary between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm on a rota basis.

Candidates will be responsible for reception duties and serving as the first point of contact for patients arriving at the Diagnostics Centre. Previous customer service experience is required.

The duties include:

1. Scheduling appointments for all diagnostics
2. Reception and registration of patients, issuing patient preparations as appropriate
3. Completing all required documentation and maintaining computer records
4. Handling telephone calls and following up on enquiries from patients, clinics, wards, and GPs
5. Contacting patients via telephone to make and confirm appointments
6. Sending out correspondence and managing relevant queries from patients, relatives, hospital staff, and GPs
7. Reporting difficulties to the manager and/or clinical staff and suggesting improvements
8. Working in any clerical area within the Diagnostic Centre, on a temporary or permanent basis
9. Assisting other clerical staff to cover sickness, leave, etc.
